Recently, fans caught Sister Wives stars, Robyn and Kody Brown showing off their acting skills during a serious interaction.
While it was clear that Robyn and Kody are struggling through a new phase of their monogamous marriage, fans believe some of the plot points were entirely following a script for the show.
Robyn And Kody Brown Duke It Out
In the Sunday, October 6, episode of Sister Wives, Robyn Brown admits she is losing respect for Kody Brown. While she has expressed feeling like the “idiot” left behind during the first few episodes, now some of her and Kody’s marriage problems are coming to light.
Although they had hinted at trouble in paradise, Kody and Robyn often reference it being the effects of Meri, Janelle, and Christine Brown leaving.
Now, Robyn confronts Kody about reaching out to his kids. Since she had been pushing for him to reconnect with many of his children who were expressing anger, Kody said it “triggered” him to the point he needed to take a drive to burn off some steam.
Both Robyn and Kody exchange words about how frustrated they are with the situation at hand. But Robyn feels like it is bleeding into her “respect” for Kody. For instance, she is beginning to compare him to her father who wasn’t present in her life. Furthermore, Kody believes the kids are trash-talking him and have pulled out the “finger of blame.” Even so, Kody admits that he isn’t going to do what Robyn is asking because he can’t even fix what needs attention in their monogamous marriage. Undoubtedly, some fans were baffled Kody finally admitted that his true love is Robyn and pretty much no one else matters. However, fans spy Robyn and Kody’s acting chops as they discuss how the “family was killed by gossip.”

Surprisingly, Robyn Brown made some very solid points about working through disagreements within the family. However, Sister Wives fans notice how disjointed the argument was between Robyn and Kody Brown.
On Reddit, several people discuss how the fight was scripted. First, a user says, “Robyn and Kody’s Staged Fight.” Then, they add, “Again a staged convo with Robyn & Kody to blame the mothers and children for their failed relationships with the majority of the family members.

Furthermore, the Redditor adds, “The children are intelligent grown adults. Their convos with their father is how THEY FEEL! To project those feelings to the mothers is not validating their feelings.
Every time Robyn inserts herself into the relationships she causes harm & pain, increasing the resentments. She is not parenting his children as she does hers.
Example Ari…she is expressing herself and you have to listen. Every attempt to avoid responsibility for their own behaviors is for the public image they are desperately trying to create. The children know this and so do the viewers.”
Fans Think It Is Clearly Fake

- “It was incredibly fake but he was so telling. I think they did this to hopefully help theI image but this made them look a million times worse. More Sister Wives viewers wondered if the whole scene was to help fans have a better understanding of Robyn Brown. Unmistakably, she was trying to impress upon Kody Brown just how important is to reconcile with the family. However, most people think it was an act to sway public opinion that didn’t work.
- In another sub, one fan adds, “That whole conversation with Robyn was not organic at all. It was done to make Robyn look innocent in all things relating to the family issues. It also gave him the opportunity to play the martyr and try for sympathy for himself. Of course neither one of them recognizes that they both come off as unstable and delusional. Robyn loves drama, so staying married to that nut job of a husband is right up her alley.”
- “It’ll never work because one minute it ‘looks like’ she’s trying to hold him accountable but then the next minute she’s helping him come up with excuses. Those two are such a** clowns.”

- “This was all filmed recently. The mention of ‘grief’. Them trying to now resolve issues. TLC should be ashamed for trying to rewrite history and allowing Kody & Robyn direct the narrative. Shame.”
- “That’s what I thought. She had a real tear that she didn’t wipe by the way and he looked like he was going to cry this scene was added in after the fact for sure.”
- “So was this ‘fight’ filmed after garrison? That would really gross me out, for a minute I aaaaaalmost believed Robyn was trying to push Kotex into stepping the eff up as a dad, based on her own experiences with her father!”
