The new episode of Sister Wives Season 19 featured a scene where Robyn begged Kody to mend fences with his children. But most fans don’t think there was anything real about that scene whatsoever.
Reality television often contains staged scenes and recreations of real conversations. Many viewers think the redemption conversation was completely staged to appease Kody and Robyn.
So did TLC paint them in a better light? Or did the network just make the situation worse?
Sister Wives Fans Rage Over The Controversial Scene
Most Sister Wives fans would prefer to see Kody and Robyn have less screen time. But the redemption conversation from this week’s episode really sent fans over the edge.
“Kody and Robyn are doing damage control,” one Redditor suggested online. ” … Kody probably told producers that he doesn’t like how Robyn has been portrayed and we want it changed!
So he and Robyn devised this poor acting scene to make her look like the wonderful person Kody has tried to shove down our throats! We don’t buy that fake redemption of Robyn sorry Kody! P.S. we know the real Robyn.. we have watched her for 19 seasons and so do your OG kids.”

Is Robyn Trying To Control The Narrative?
As other Redditors have suggested, Robyn Brown seems to be trying to regain Sister Wives viewers’ trust and favor. As TV Shows Ace previously noted, many fans think she might be trying to stoke sympathy based on problems rooted in her childhood.
Robyn’s biological father wasn’t around when she was a child. It’s possible she wants to prevent Kody’s other children from suffering the same pain. But if those are her intentions, most fans aren’t interested.
