Leading up to the TLC premiere, fans have been paying close attention to what is being shared about the Sister Wives clan. A recent rumor is circulating online about why Robyn Brown’s kids snubbed Garrison’s funeral. Here is what’s being said.
Speculation About Why Robyn’s Kids Were Not At The Funeral
Recently, Mykelti Padron spoke about her relationship with Robyn and Kody Brown. Mykelti was often the bridge between Robyn, Kody, and the rest of the family. She always supported Robyn, even while most Sister Wives fans couldn’t stand her.
However, she recently addressed the fact that it seems like she’s taken a step back from Robyn. Mykelti said that it had something to do with what unfolded at her brother Garrison Brown’s funeral.
As fans know, Garrison Brown committed suicide on March 5, 2024. His death shattered the entire Sister Wives family. Apparently, Kody and Robyn did something that was not agreeable at the funeral.
In photos from the funeral, it was also noted that Robyn’s kids were missing. Many people couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t attend any of the services honoring him.
Then, rumors started to circulate about why none of Robyn’s children were present. There was a rather unbelievable rumor that one of them wasn’t there due to filming for The Masked Singer.
Sister Wives Fans Set The Record Straight
Sister Wives fans were seething after seeing this blatant lie. Many of them took to Reddit to discuss the rumor.
“According to the google search I just did, The Masked Singer was not being filmed at that time. The season that was being aired when Garrison died was filmed months earlier,” one person wrote.
Multiple people chastised where the information came from. “Please everyone stop listening to the dumb***, for the love of all things holy. She’s garbage,” one person groaned. Another agreed, “She does and says terrible things on her YouTube. I avoid anything that she does or says or writes.”
“Is this coming from she who often says things on youtube that aren’t true?” a third Sister Wives fan chimed in.
Other people suggested some real reasons as to why Robyn’s children may have been missing from the funeral. One commenter pointed out that Robyn’s daughters “couldn’t even move without having a mental breakdown.” If they showed up at the funeral, they would have likely made it about them and had an anxiety attack.
Several other people pointed out that funerals can be hard for people. “They’re really just too much for a lot of people,” one Reddit user stated.
Whatever happened, it has to be serious because Mykelti finally cut ties with Robyn due to something that happened at the funeral. Fans will get to see how things play out on the new season of the TLC show.
