New Update: Meri Brown ‘shuts down’ beloved Utah bed & breakfast indefinitely and reveals reason behind closure
Plus, Meri has been teasing a new project that fans speculate is a book
SISTER Wives star Meri Brown has announced the indefinite closure of her Utah Bed and Breakfast, and revealed her reason why.
The TLC star opened her business in 2017, closing it in 2021 after the death of her mother.
She took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the latest closing news with fans.
“Time to say goodbye…If only for a moment….,” she began.
“This beautiful 154 year old home is in need of some TLC and needs some renovation, so I’ve made the decision to shut down the b&b for regular visits.”
Meri, 53, went on, “At this point, I don’t know how long it will be closed, I suppose that all depends on what ends up happening as we go through the process!
“We will still have special events where you can come see the home, so be sure to pay attention to the website for that info!”
The Sister Wives star added, “But for now, enjoy these photos of what ‘was’ and look forward with me to what will be! I’ve got some fun and exciting things planned for these spaces! The next little while will be filled with fun and anticipation, and I’m excited for what’s to come!”
Meri shared a number of photos of the bed and breakfast, including a snap of the dining area, and several bedrooms.
WELL WISHES
In the comments, fans wished Meri well on the renovation venture.
“Fun,” shared one commenter.
Another referenced the many photos Meri posted of her dog enjoying the space, writing, “Your dog is a paid actor. Good luck on renovations!”
“Change is good sometimes!” a third fan assured her.
“So cute and quaint! I want to come,” wrote another.
“Looks beautiful. I would love to visit from across the pond,” gushed a fifth.
Someone else wrote, “It’s a beautiful house…have fun during the reno don’t let it stress you.”
NEW PROJECT
Meri will be plenty busy outside of the bed and breakfast.
In May, she posted an ominous video announcing a new project that fans believe to be a tell-all book.
Sister Wives fans hope the book will touch on her marriage to Kody Brown and her relationship with her former Sister Wives co-stars.
She posted a video on Instagram that showed her sitting on the porch outside her house.
The camera began at the end of her walkway.
It panned up the path as ominous music played in the background.
As the camera came closer to Meri, voiceovers began playing.
Voices could be heard saying, “Are you going gym?”, “Fake,” “Freak,” “Nobody loves you,” and other messages.
Meri picked up her head, and the screen changed from black and white to color.
She gave a serious look at the camera.
The video paused as Meri said, “I’m done allowing other people to tell me what I’m worth of.”
The camera zoomed back out before the screen faded to black and the words, “Worth Up…Monday,” appeared on screen.
“It’s almost here! Are you ready? Click the link in my bio and follow along! #WorthyUp,” she captioned the post.
The link directed followers to Meri’s website, which features a link to her mailing list and other projects she’s worked on.
