Sister Wives star Christine Brown paints Robyn Brown as one of the main reasons her marriage failed. Besides that, even her kids don’t have much to do with Kody Brown.
They say they’ve had enough of their father favoring Robyn, which you heard both on and off the TLC screen. So, you wouldn’t expect Robyn Brown to hear words of praise coming from this co-wife or her kids. But stranger things have happened.
Sister Wives: Robyn Brown Peeved at Christine Brown
Christine Brown always wanted the kind of marriage that the youngest wife enjoys with their shared husband. But she never had that.
So, she left. With that said, you likely won’t expect Christine to offer praise to the wife who played a part in her marriage demise.
Then there’s Robyn who knows all too well what Christine Brown’s problem was when she left. Kody’s youngest wife tried to defend herself last week after saying they blame her for the fracture in the Sister Wives family.
Instead of stopping there, she digs deeper and seemingly becomes a spokesperson for her husband Kody. She feels her disenchanted co-wife shouldn’t have left.
She became peeved because she believes her co-wife just gave up without trying. But it looks like she doesn’t know the extent of what Christine Brown went through and how she tried to fix things.
So, to add insult to injury it looks like Robyn Brown blames her co-wife and not Kody for the demise of their marriage. That didn’t sit well with the Sister Wives fans.
Sister Wives: Who Owns the Guilt?
If anyone had a reason to harbor a bit of animosity for the fourth wife of Kody Brown, that would be Christine Brown. She was told by her husband that he won’t have an intimate relationship with her. But at the same time, he was sharing intimacy with Robyn.
Christine doesn’t seem to blame Robyn. But she does seem to blame Kody for taking on the behaviors of a monogamous husband when he has four wives.
Many fans agree the real culprit here is Kody, with his fourth wife not helping the issue. With that said, he almost seems to pit the wives against each other.
He’s told Christine there’s no nooky for her, (likely using different wording than that). He’s also made it clear that he loves all the four women he married. But he’s only “in love” with one. That’s Robyn.
Shocking Praise from Ex-Wife to Robyn
So, just by declaring his love for Robyn over the rest of his wives, he pretty much spawned the majority of the jealousy. Some of the jealousy caused by the Sister Wives patriarch played out on the screen. But there’s likely much more once the cameras shut down.
So, when Christine Brown attends her daughter’s first birth, Robyn is the only other Sister Wives’ mom involved. Due to COVID, she couldn’t be there. But she did attend virtually on a video call that lasted from labor to birth.
What may stun the Sister Wives fans is the gracious way Christine Brown addresses Robyn concerning Mykelti.
Christine said that Robyn and Mykelti formed a bond almost instantly when the fourth wife joined the family. That bond remains strong to this day despite all that went on between her biological mom and her dad.
Christine looks into the camera and says she will always love and respect Robyn for this bond she’s formed with her daughter. It looks like Christine can put the past behind her and see Robyn’s qualities and how those qualities affect her daughter, Mykelti.
Instead of keeping her family away from the woman who has all their husband’s attention, Christine Brown gave praise to her fellow Sister Wives bride, Robyn Brown.
