According to Kody’s nephew, Ben Brown, the newest season of Sister Wives will be arriving in August 2024.
Though the seasons typically begin airing later in the year, Sister Wives season 19 covers some highly sensitive subjects that the network likely wanted to release as quickly as possible to provide viewers clarity on what’s been happening in the Brown family recently.
According to Ben, Sister Wives season 19 will begin airing in early August, and he plans to be watching the show for the first time to see some heartbreaking, difficult family drama coming into the mix.
While Kody and the rest of the Brown family who appear on Sister Wives don’t typically react to the events of the season until the end, Ben will be starting a new series on his TikTok account where he reacts to the series leading up to its newest season.
Ben, the son of Kody’s older brother Scott Brown, grew up in polygamy with his father but hasn’t appeared on Sister Wives throughout its long run. He explained that he would be reacting to the show from the beginning, as he’s never watched more than an episode of the show.
During Ben’s reaction to the series premiere of Sister Wives, which originally aired in 2010, he was amused at the way his uncle was portrayed, laughing through the recap and sharing what he felt the show would eventually be.
