General Hospital spoilers indicate that Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) upcoming death has been rumored along with the new of Kelly Monaco’s firing.
While there’s been no official date given for Monaco’s last air date, it’s likely to be coming sooner rather than later now that summer has given way to fall.
The only question is how Sam will die and how it will impact the rest of Port Charles. It seems quite likely that Sam’s death could actually save two other people!
General Hospital Spoilers – Sam McCall wants to help Alexis Davis
At the moment, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is being held without bail while awaiting trial for the murder of FBI Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington).
The prosecution’s case relies on the fact that Alexis was seen dumping a gun from the footbridge into the river below. But that gun isn’t the murder weapon, so Sam believes if she can produce that gun, then the charges against Alexis will be dropped.
Sam is an excellent and skilled diver, so she’s decided to search the river herself despite the danger involved.
GH Spoilers – Lulu Spencer needs a liver transplant
Meanwhile, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) has been in a coma for several years and because of the medications she has been given to stay alive, she’s contracted cirrhosis of the liver.
She needs a liver transplant, and the hope is that her brother Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) will be a donor match. But Lucky may not make it back to Port Charles in time and there’s no guarantee that his liver will be suitable for transplant. Perhaps that’s where Sam will come in.

If Sam manager to find the weapon, she could run into trouble while still underwater and could even drown with the gun in her possession. Once her body is found, perhaps her liver would be a match for Lulu.
That could mean that Sam would save not only Alexis but Lulu as well. Sam’s death could mean a brand-new start for two people. Sam’s death will be devastating but at least it won’t be in vain if his is how it all goes down!
