‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Something Strange With Jagger’s Death, What Exactly Is Going On?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) shot John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J Harrington) at the Quartermaine boathouse.

Not only is Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) covering for Sonny, but now Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is involved and so is Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) who has taken the fall for his death.

Sonny would not let one of his children’s mother take the fall for him. However, Alexis is doing just that because she thinks Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi) is guilty. There seems to be more to this story than meets the eye.

Could This Be Some Sort Of Covert Operation?

General Hospital spoilers have fans wondering if Jagger is really dead. Sonny would have never killed someone where there could be potential witnesses. Sonny also wouldn’t normally be at a Quartermaine family function. Could the whole death at the Quartermaine house be some sort of coverup?

People die in Port Charles all the time and they come back just as often, why would Jagger be any different. This whole thing seems way too convenient, especially since Michael is the one who declared Jagger dead. Michael never even called for a doctor to come to Jagger to make sure he was dead. This whole situation is very telling.

GH Spoilers: Where Is Jagger Cates?

All the evidence is pointing at Jagger being alive and well. But why would Jagger fake his own death? Why would Sonny go along with this plan? Who exactly are they protecting with this crazy collaboration? Could this be Sonny stepping up to protect Carly like she has him so many times in the past?

Sonny has worked with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) as well as Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) before and both of them were in law enforcement at the time. Is working with Cates all that far fetched? Perhaps this was the only way to get Carly out of trouble once and for all. However, how is going to help?

This could be all about someone else entirely. Not Carly, or Alexis, or even Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has spent years protecting Sonny, could this all be for Jason? Carly would certainly be on board with that. Remember, both Jason and Carly ran the mob in his absence. Sonny would feel obligated to save Jason from the law. What Sonny wouldn’t do is kill someone in cold blood and let his son get mixed up in the fallout.
