General Hospital Spoilers: Jordan First Hit Port Charles In 2014
Jordan first hit Port Charles in 2014, as a part of a drug enforcement administration team tasked with infiltrating the Jerome crime family, specifically to take down Julian Jerome (William DeVry).
She also wanted to reconnect with her son TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) who would be revealed as Shawn Butler’s (Sean Blakemore) son rather than Tommy Ashford’s (uncast character). It would also be revealed that Shawn killed Tommy in Afghanistan, and classified “friendly fire”.
Later, it was revealed that a DEA task force Jordan was a part of along with Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) framed Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) to put him in prison.
Jordan knew Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) from years back, and eventually replaced her as Port Charles Police Commissioner, then stepped down to become Deputy Mayor.
GH Spoilers: Vinessa Left The Show To Appear In A Canadian Primetime Drama
Fans of General Hospital will surely cherish the memories of Vinessa Antoine, who portrayed the original Jordan Ashford among four recasts, one just temporary.
After her departure from the show in 2018, she made history as the first black Canadian actress to headline a primetime drama with her role in Diggstown back in her homeland.
Following the conclusion of Diggstown, she has graced various streaming platforms and other Canadian productions. Now, she is embarking on an exciting new venture featuring the most fashionable Emmy winner to ever grace the screen, titled the Madness.

Vinessa Antoine recently shared captivating photos on her Instagram, showcasing her alongside the dapper Oscar-nominated Emmy-winner Colman Domingo, taken on the set of his highly anticipated Netflix limited series.
Titled The Madness, this gripping show premieres on November 28 and follows a media pundit who unexpectedly becomes embroiled in a murder mystery in the Poconos.
Additionally, fans in the U.S. can catch Antoine in the final season of Netflix’s Umbrella Academy, where she portrays a mysterious character who has a thrilling encounter with quirky Klaus Hargreeves.
Believe us, her character is not one to be trifled with! But that’s not all Vinessa has been up to.
GH Spoilers: More Canadian Projects
Vinessa has more Canadian projects in the pipeline along with the two US Netflix series; Antoine stars in a sci-fi time travel show named Plan B on CBC Gem. She is the lead in the second season of this anthology series.
As reported by Deadline, she portrays a new character who gets a chance to change her life and the lives of those around her through a mysterious time-travel agency.
The show will premiere in Canada in October, but it’s unclear if it will be available in the U.S. Plus IMDB shows she has several projects coming up, including a series titled Work in Progress and a thriller called All the Lost Ones, featuring Chucky’s Devon Sawa and Riverdale’s Lochlyn Munro.
This drama will be available on Paramount+ Canada later this year, although we hope to see Antoine in more American projects soon.
