General Hospital Spoilers: Lulu Lives But Sam Dies — and Dante is Left Spiraling Backward
General Hospital spoilers leak Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) are both on the chopping block.
While Dominic Zamprogna — who plays Dante Falconeri — has already confirmed that Sam will die sometime relatively soon, we don’t know what the future holds for his ex-wife, Lulu.
We do know her condition is deteriorating rapidly. Cirrhosis of the liver is no joke, and Lulu is hardly in tip-top shape. Right now, Dante is struggling to understand how he feels about the idea of never hearing Lulu speak or watching her open her eyes again.
It’s not just about the child they share, but the life they shared together. Some part of him didn’t think that was over, even though he has moved on with Sam.
Speaking of Sam, Dante obviously has no idea he’s going to lose her soon. Just as he’s making peace with how he feels about Lulu, he may find himself riddled with guilt in the wake of losing Sam.
General Hospital Spoilers — Tracy Kicked Things Off
Dante was already feeling pretty low when he bumped into Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) in the hospital chapel. He probably regrets that move now, but it seems Tracy just had to get some pent-up frustration with him off her chest — and now of all times.
Dante put up a good front, but by the time he made it back to the Q mansion, he was teeming with guilt and angry at, well, pretty much everyone. Is this the beginning of him second-guessing whether he deserves to love Lulu at all?
To make matters worse, while Dante is expecting to lose Lulu, it sounds like he’s going to keep her but lose Sam in the exchange.
Sure, it may not be that cut and dry, but it also could be — especially if Sam dies around the same time that Lulu wakes up, and even more so if Sam ends up being the donor who saves Lulu’s life — spurring her to open her eyes.
How can Dante reconcile Sam seemingly paying with her life for him to get Lulu back?
General Hospital Spoilers — Lulu Returns!
Lulu might get a second chance, but that doesn’t mean her relationship with Dante will. Right now, he’s probably entertaining the fantasy of that. Lulu waking up and being able to tell her how he feels about her is a moment he really wants.
But will he feel tremendous guilt on the heels of Sam’s death that causes him to keep his true feelings to himself? Will he somehow equate Sam’s passing with being his fault, or tell himself he doesn’t deserve another shot with Lulu because he wasn’t honest with Sam and wasted her time when she hardly had any left?
Clearly, Dante has no way of knowing these things in advance, but knowing him, it won’t stop him from beating himself up after the fact.
