That’s because a lot of disgruntled General Hospital fans have been bombarding the producers and frontrunners of the show on social media about how disgruntled they feel about Kelly being let go. The actress is best known for her role as Sam McCall on the ABC sudster.
Some of Kelly’s fans took to social media to weigh in on the matter. A lot of them have even noticed that some ABC executives have turned off the replies to their tweets simply because they don’t want to be bombarded with complaints about Kelly Monaco’s firing anymore.
Many have even commented with, “I’m pissed and I’m not even a KeMo or Sam fan! This is dirty what they are doing to her and her fans!”
“Maybe they should rethink this idea of firing her it’s gonna get the show canceled big time.”

Another critic wrote, “Then they ought to just cancel their Twitter altogether. If you can’t handle the flame, stay outta the fire. Or get rid of the EP & Director & let’s see how the change will come about!”
And then there was this comment as well: “I’m no longer a Sam fan but this was done in such poor taste. Mostly because I feel the longest actors on show should be respected more. KM has a huge fan base. Why does one female hog so much air time? Spread that time.”
