General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) recently made a pitch for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to break free from Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) world. Anna feels like Jason needs to take advantage of the second chance he’s been given and pursue a different future.
From where Anna’s standing, Jason would be far happier going legit and focusing on his boys.
Sonny is putting Jason in risky situations, but Anna hoped he wouldn’t be standing next to Sonny when she ultimately took him down.
Is Anna giving Jason good advice to get out of all the mob mayhem?
Jason has automatically gone back to taking Sonny’s orders now that they’re on good terms again, but it doesn’t have to be that way.
If Jason were to break free like Anna suggests, he could indeed concentrate on Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), Jake Webber (Hudson West) and living a life that’s far less dangerous.
However, that’s just not who Jason is! Jason signed up for this life a long time ago and seems content to remain loyal to Sonny as well as his loved ones.
Although Jason will continue to be there for Jake and Danny in his own way, he’s not going to abandon Sonny.
GH writers finally got Sonny and Jason’s relationship sorted out, so it’s doubtful they’re going to blow it up all over again.
Jason basically called Anna out for being a hypocrite since she’s done things to compromise her own integrity – like warning Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) so he could make his escape.
It seems like Anna should probably sit down and shut up when it comes to Sonny since she’s not exactly a fine, upstanding police commissioner!
Whatever the case, Jason didn’t seem to pay much attention to Anna’s warning about his future.
Jason knows what he’s doing and is more than capable of making his own decisions, so he should stand by Sonny and continue to help him no matter what.
General Hospital spoilers say Jason will face some shocking dilemmas as a result, so we’ll bring you more predictions on the turmoil and updates on all the alarming news to come.
