GH’s Nancy Lee Grahn and Daughter Kate Grahn Spoof ‘Of Course’ Trend with ‘My Mom’s on a Soap Opera’ Featuring Hilarious Tropes

General Hospital’s Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) and daughter, singer and musician, Kate Grahn, often play up their mother/daughter relationship with some very funny videos on TikTok.

Now, the duo have gone all-in on the current “of course” trend that has hit social media. In the trend, people introduce themselves and humorously share parts of their life and their relationships.

In this send-up, Kate begins by saying “My mom’s on a soap opera … of course, I know how to do a fake slap,” only she hauls off and hits Nancy, where mom says, “That wasn’t fake!” Next, Kate says, “My mom’s a soap opera actress of course I know how to cry on cue,” and then breaks into overblown tears.

Later, she follows with, “My mom’s on a soap opera, of course, I know how to throw a drink in someone’s face.” However, she throws the drink in Nancy’s face and yells, “You bitch!” Still later, Kate is now outside on a boat, where she says, “My mom’s on a soap opera, of course I know how to dispose a dead body.” Next, she throws Nancy overboard.

Nancy took to her Instagram and reposted the video and shared, My daughter @kate.grahn living her best soap life.”  Next over the weekend, Nancy shared it via her account on X, sharing, “Sunday Funday. The life of a soap daughter.”

General Hospital Star Nancy Lee Grahn Is On A Mission!

If there’s anything that General Hospital fans have learned about Nancy Lee Grahn over the years, it’s that she’s someone who wears her heart on her sleeve, her emotions on her face, and apparently her message on her cheek, too.

The actress, who is best known for her role as Nancy Lee Davis on the hit ABC soap, made it pretty clear who she is supporting this election cycle in a new photo with her daughter, Kate.

Both women had ‘Harris Walz’ written on their cheeks with lipstick. As many General Hospital fans probably know by now, Nancy is a huge supporter of the Democratic party.

So it shoudln’t come as a surprise to anyone that she is putting all of her effort in making sure that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz win the presidential election this year.

Many of Nancy’s fans and followers even commented on the photo with, “Isn’t it wonderful to feel this happy about the election,” along with, “Ms. Grahn, you and your supremely talented daughter, .@kate_grahn, are freaking adorable.”

“You both personify humanity beautifully. Thank you for being the person in “real life” I’d hoped you’d be since I became a fan many years ago.”

However, Nancy was called a hypocrite by her fans just a few weeks ago. That’s because she totally changed her tune about wanting Joe Biden to stay in the race only moments after he dropped out. In fact, some of her fans are saying that her tweets just aren’t making any sense.

Last month, Nancy Lee Grahn simply said after Joe Biden’s announcement that he was stepping down from the presidential race, “Trump’s done. And so is the Republican Party.”
