General Hospital Preview: We’ve Got Chills, They’re Multiplyin’, as Sonny and Kristina Target Ava

It doesn’t sound like it much matter what Ava orders on General Hospital the week of August 12, because she’s getting served a heaping helping of revenge. Cold, of course.

As you’ll see in the brand-new promo below, emotions are running high as the femme fatale makes bail and is released from prison.

“Kristina could’ve died” doing that freefall into the pool, Carly reminds Ava (as if she could forget). “Her baby did die.”

But Kristina’s sometime stepmother isn’t the one that it sounds like Ava really needs to worry about.

A grieving Molly suggests to T.J. that “we need to do something about what happened to us.” They’re not the murderous sort, though; they’re more likely to file a civil suit with the help of this returning character.

Apprised of the latest, Jason asks Sonny what he’s going to do. Good question — and for Ava, a damn scary one.

Yet it’s Kristina who looks the most like she’s plotting murder most foul (which is ironic, considering General Hospital didn’t even bother to solve its last whodunit). “I can promise you,” Kristina says. “Ava is going to pay for what she did.”

Mm-hmm. We’ll be fine with that just so long as it happens after Sonny, Carly, Jason, etc., pay for all of their crimes.

Can’t wait to see how the soap’s latest headwriting team manages to chart an escape route for Ava from the corner into which she’s been painted!
