General Hospital Spoilers: Jason’s Extended FBI Stint – John Holds Spinelli/Sam Info. Over His Head
Spoilers for General Hospital (GH) suggest that the Pikeman storyline may be coming to an end.
Having said that, Steve Burton’s character Jason Morgan will finally be a “free man” at the end of this story arc, free from the FBI and John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington).
Could John find a fresh cause to keep “Stone Cold” on as an FBI informant, though, in light of Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) recently stealing FBI documents to see what the agency had on Jason?
GH Spoilers: John “Jagger” Cates Is Not Stupid
According to GH teasers, it looked a little too good to be true when Sam and Spinelli “fooled” John in the Metro Court pool.
Being an FBI agent, there’s no way he was unaware of Sam’s identity or her background as a private eye. He also probably knew that Sam was Jason’s ex-girlfriend and everything about her past.
It seemed unusual that they were able to swipe his FBI card so quickly. Although Sam is aware that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was the reason Jason consented to assist the agency, and they were able to obtain the necessary information, it is difficult to accept that John was unaware of the situation.
Still, maybe he intended for them to fall into this trap on purpose.
GH Spoilers: If Sam & Spinelli Get Caught, There Will Be Massive Repercussions
When Sam discovered the extent Jason would go to in order to keep Carly safe, she became enraged. Is she still being contradictory, though? She dragged Spinelli into it all and went to great measures to see if she could help Jason.
The consequences of either of them getting exposed would be dire for Sam and Spinelli, their kids, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). There have been some recent hints about this.
As an FBI informant, Jason performed a fantastic job. His prior employment as a mob boss goon demonstrated that he possessed the exact skill set required by the agency.
Will they thus utilize that once more? Will John keep Jason under the FBI’s control by holding onto the evidence he has on Sam and Spinelli?
