General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Kisses Jason! Gratitude Or A SIgn Of Future Romance?
Spoilers for General Hospital indicate that now that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is aware that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) gave up more than two years of his life for her, she is experiencing emotional instability.
As viewers are aware, Jason was on Cassadine Island when there was an explosion. After a cave-in, he managed to escape, but Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) of the FBI confronted him.
Jason was compelled by Cates to go undercover, failing which he threatened to use an FBI-possessed tape in which Carly acknowledged that she was in charge of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Bernard) group.

Racketeering carries a 20-year prison sentence. Jason decided to go undercover and infiltrate the Pikeman Group rather than allow it to occur.
Jason’s friends and family, meanwhile, had always thought he was dead. Carly’s immediate reaction upon learning the truth was to give herself up in order to set Jason free.
However, Carly was persuaded by Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) that Jason would not need her sacrificed her for nothing. Since he loves Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) as much as Jason loves Carly, Spinelli acknowledged that he would go to the same lengths for her.

It sounded like Spinelli thought Jason and Carly were romantically interested in the same manner as he is with Maxie based on the way he said it.
However, Jason and Carly have both stated that they get along better without being very passionate. They’ve tried before, but the timing never seems to work out.
Carly and Jason are undeniably in love, so there’s always a chance they’ll pursue a romantic relationship once more. They will always be soulmates, no matter what.

A large part of Carly feels thankful that Jason loved her enough to give up two years of his life, even though she is also upset that he made the decision he did without consulting her or receiving her approval.
It’s simple to picture her thanking Jason with a passionate kiss. Though it seems more likely that they would stop themselves from going over that line again, Jason might even start to respond.
However, you never know when Jason and Carly will decide to try their hand at romance.
