General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, June 20, focus on characters getting to know each other, warning each other, and lashing out at each other. And what does Nina have to tell Maxie?
Digging Deep
Obviously, Gio (Giovanni Mazza) and Trina (Tabyana Ali — who recently responded to her haters) are simply in the stage of their acquaintance or burgeoning friendship where they get to know each other. For example, Trina knows enough to get Gio a job serenading art buyers at Ava’s gallery. And Gio does know about Trina’s recent tragedy.
In Thursday’s episode, Gio learns more about Trina. Does she tell him something light and casual or share her innermost thoughts? Will the thing he finds out change how he sees her or make him appreciate her even more?
Go To Your Respective Corners, Please
Whoa, how did that Carly/Sam fight escalate so quickly? The one where Jason (Steve Burton), of course, was the topic of the conversation. It felt like the show hit reset on this relationship to tell us that Carly (Laura Wright) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) are returning to the non-friend zone. The crux of this debate: Sam wants Carly to tell Jason to stay away from Danny (Asher Antonyzyn). Carly thinks that is a ridiculous idea because Danny adores Jason.
So, who’s right? Do they both need to explore a happy medium regarding Jason? Does Carly need to open her eyes and realize Jason’s not perfect? As for Sam, does she need to rethink the potential damage to Danny if she keeps forbidding him from seeing his dad? Needless to say, Sam is livid. Who does she turn to for support? (Paging Dominic Zamprogna’s Dante Falconeri!) Meanwhile, when Carly warns Jason, it has to be about this argument, right? (Check out GH’s latest Comings & Goings)
Two Hot Messes, No Waiting
Oh, Finn (Michael Easton). He’s turned into GH’s version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Sober, he’s the pouty, mild-mannered medicine man who saves patients all over with his cures for infectious diseases. Drunk and whiskeyed-up, he is belligerent, brutal, and bratty. And he has no problem telling his friends, girlfriend, and family where to go. Well, guess what? He lashes out…again. Who’s on the receiving end of his angst and man pain this time?
Finally, Nina (Cynthia Watros) is on a bit of a winning streak. She has Crimson back. Drew (Cameron Mathison) doesn’t hate her — he says he does, but he really doesn’t. And he’s helping her mend fences with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). In fact, she was able to attend her surprise birthday party! Once again, she chooses to confide in Maxie (Kirsten Storms). What’s this secret about? Drew, the newest Quartermaine? Willow? Or someone else? Did she do something underhanded that she needs to get off her chest?
