General Hospital Spoilers: Ava’s Gallery Event Targeted – Sonny’s Attendance Brings Grave Danger?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that there’s been a lot of talk about an upcoming event at Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) gallery, so maybe we should start making some predictions about what’ll happen once it gets underway.

GH fans will recall that Ava was looking for some background music for one of their artist openings, so Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) got Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) an audition.

Gio’s talent alone probably would’ve been enough to get him the job, but the fact that he has a close Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) connection certainly didn’t hurt.

Ava was quite intrigued when Gio talked about “Uncle Sonny,” who helped with his music dreams and would’ve paid his way at PCU if Gio hadn’t received a full ride.

Once Gio proved his violin skills, Ava quickly hired him – no doubt hoping that she could ultimately score some points with Sonny.

If Ava plays her cards right and hypes up Gio’s upcoming performance, maybe she can even convince Sonny to come to the event.

Ava is always eager to spend more time with Sonny – and she may hope that once Sonny sees Gio in action, it’ll be a reminder of what a nice thing she did by hiring his pseudo nephew.

Of course, it’s possible this event will be held off-screen and won’t turn out to be a big deal in the end.

The point of all this may have been pushing Gio toward Trina and putting the knowledge of Sonny’s link to Gio in Ava’s hands.

Even so, it’s fun to speculate about what might go down if this event turns out to be an on-screen event instead.

It could bring the opportunity for some chaos and destruction since trouble tends to follow Sonny these days.

Could Sonny’s attendance put everyone there at risk?

Sonny remains a Pikeman target, so they might revert to their original plan of wiping him off the map if this whole altered meds plot ends up taking too long.

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) could send people after Sonny sooner or later, so that’s important to keep in mind.

Then again, maybe another enemy could target Sonny at the worst possible time instead.

Whatever the case, it’s easy to imagine Gio pulling Trina into the backroom during a dangerous situation and essentially getting trapped there with her.

It’d be a great way for Trina and Gio to grow closer during all the potential chaos.
