Fans Outraged After Liz’s Baby Leighton’s Living Situation Exposed

Little Johnstons fans are curious about Liz Johnston’s living arrangement with baby Leighton Bolden since Liz moved back home under the Johnston roof. Do they live in a closet?

7 Little Johnstons: Liz Johnston Moved Back Home In Recent Scenes

As 7 Little Johnstons fans saw in recent Season 14 scenes, Liz Johnston moved back under the Johnston roof in preparation for baby Leighton Bolden’s arrival. While it’s not necessarily ideal to move back home with your parents, Liz acknowledged that this was the right move for her and her family.

The one obvious positive is that, being back under the family roof guarantees extra sets of hands to help with the baby. Bringing home a newborn is already a tough task. This is extra tough as well when you consider that Leighton coming onto the scene meant that Liz and Brice were parents for the first time.

Not Everyone Thinks This Move Was A Good Idea

As much as Liz Johnston justified that her move home was necessary, not many 7 Little Johnstons fans see it this way. With Liz back under the roof of her parents, most viewers see this as another way for Amber to control the situation, as well as the narrative for future seasons.

Anna Johnston had enough money to buy her own home recently. So, the way many 7 Little Johnstons fans see it, Brice and Liz could have had their own place to raise baby Leighton in rather than Liz moving back home with her newborn.

At the end of the day, most fans say this move was made for both control and convenience, and many viewers don’t see this as an ideal situation at all.

7 Little Johnstons Fans Criticize Putting Liz In A ‘Closet’ With Baby Leighton

Recently, 7 Little Johnstons fans critiqued the “closet” upstairs that Liz moved back into in the family home. Even for little people, the space seems rather small.

Emma and Alex helped decorate the space, however, the way that most viewers see it, this isn’t enough space for Liz and the baby, especially with everything that taking care of a new baby entails.

While it’s true that there are other rooms around the family home with Leighton’s stuff in it, this only furthers the opinion shared by many viewers that Liz going back home was not the right move.

While it’s great for all of her relatives to be able to spend time with Leighton in a general home base, some even think that this living arrangement will eventually drive another wedge between Liz and Brice, particularly with Amber Johnston and Trent Johnston looming close by.

  • One 7 Little Johnstons fan said: “I actually think it’s so they have new, close-by content for continued seasons. SO much easier to film. I don’t see Brice sticking around w/Liz. He’ll be a great dad, but not under T and A’s constant criticism.”

Other viewers chimed in, pointing out that baby Leighton has her own room in the house on the first floor. Even so, Liz being all the way upstairs strikes many as odd, logistically.

  • Another viewer said: “Oh no the baby had her own room on first floor by Ambi***. They put Liz upstairs. How does that make any sense.”
