We’d like to congratulate young Scarlett Spears (Donna) of General Hospital for achieving yet another professional accomplishment!
When the adorable little girl watched the episode that day on July 31, she received a unique surprise.
Her mother wrote on Instagram, along with a video clip and behind-the-scenes photos from the concert, “Another first today!” Scarlett appeared in the GH opening credits! To put it mildly, we are elated! To say the least, she was shocked!
Spears’s headshot appears in the video immediately after Josh Swickard (Chase) and before Evan Hofer (Dex).
Spears is seen carrying birthday balloons, shooting her scene with TV mom Laura Wright (Carly), and having a dip in the Metro Court pool with other GH child stars Viron Weaver (Wiley) and Gary James Fuller (James) in the pictures her mother took on set. Since it was more than simply Wiley’s birthday in that episode!
Scarlett’s mother disclosed, “She actually filmed today’s scenes on her seventh birthday.” She was ecstatic! How delightful! We will always be appreciative of our GH family and everyone that supports her.
Since November 2022, when Spears assumed the part of Sonny and Carly’s daughter, she has been stealing scenes. Additionally, Spears may be seen responding in a short clip in the Instagram gallery when she notices herself in the opening credits.
Her mother hands her a phone and says, “I want you to see something and I want you to push play, okay?” The young child giggles and squeals with delight when she sees her face with the other GH stars, exclaiming, “I love it!”
