General Hospital‘s Nikolas Cassadine, played by Adam Huss, is off the canvas right now, but Huss is well aware of the support he and Nikolas are still receiving from devoted fans.
Now, the actor is letting supporters know that their voice is being heard.
A Is for Adam
“Don’t think I don’t see all your #GH love for #Nikolas – I see you and I appreciate you all!” Huss shared on X, formerly Twitter. “As you know I love playing Nikolas Mikael Stavrosavich Cassadine so wherever the journey takes me YOUR love always resonates with me. Wanted to take a moment to express that! Thank you.
“I am in awe of all the love this post got. Wow,” the actor responded a few days later after sharing his initial post.
“Thank you for the love and acceptance of me as #nikolas #gh fans. I know it’s not easy to accept a recast. I won’t ever take this embrace for granted! Not even for a second. Mwuah! 😘.”
Huss first stepped in to play Nikolas back in 2021 when the role was being played by Marcus Coloma.
Huss appeared sporadically in the role over the next few years and then stepped in to finish up Nikolas’s story. He then reprised the role again.
Earlier this year, Nikolas reunited with his sons — Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Ace (Joey and Jay Clay). Huss talked to Soap Hub about those scenes in an interview which can be read here.
While Nikolas is contemplating his past as he’s incarcerated, Huss has been staying busy with a few projects including a Back to the Future-inspired short and a new Web series titled The Blvd.
The Blvd. stars Adam Huss, Vincent Irizarry (ex-Lujack, Guiding Light; ex-Deimos, Days of our Lives) and Jordi Vilasuso (ex-Rey, Young and the Restless). Soap Hub will keep Huss’s supporters up to date on the actor’s projects.
