Today, his brother’s family members speak up, ahead of Season 19. And fans are thanking them for their insight into the foundation of Kody’s behavior that’s condemned by his fans.
Kody Brown prides himself on what he thinks is a talent. One that he’s shared several times on the Sister Wives show. But after watching this for themselves on the series, this turns out as an embarrassment for some of his relatives.
Kody Usually Gets a Fair Shake
Ben Brown is Kody Brown’s nephew, the son of Kody’s brother. He describes himself as one of the Sister Wives family’s many nephews. He started to watch the TLC show and critique the scenes.
So, today, Ben dedicates some of his time to watching Sister Wives from the beginning. Then he shares his thoughts, after seeing these episodes for the first time. He gives insight as to why Kody or another family member did this or that.
But in one of his latest videos, he’s joined by another family member, and both felt a twinge of embarrassment after what they viewed on the Sister Wives screen.
Ben’s perspective comes from his upbringing in a polygamous family. And fans find him giving Kody a fair shake in many incidents he discusses.
He often declares the polygamous system is behind Kody Brown’s behaviors, rather than Kody conjuring things up on his own. But he by no means sugarcoats a thing. This time around, what they critique is not a polygamous thing. It likely falls under ego.
Sister Wives Patriarch Humiliates Himself and Embarrasses Family
Ben’s viewing brings him to the end of the first season. What he finds embarrassing is his Uncle Kody dancing at his wedding to Robyn Brown. Then Ben’s son joined him to watch this. He turned to his father to say he was embarrassed to be related to this guy.
But Ben one-upped his son when asking him how he thinks he feels. In this nephew’s case, he’s got a double whammy. Not only is he related to the Sister Wives patriarch, but some people on social media say he looks like Kody Brown. Their photos sit side-by-side below, so what do you think?
Kody’s dance moves came without rhyme or reason as far as Ben and his son were concerned. He just went crazy with his movements, while at the same time, looking to see if the camera was on him.
On a side note, Ben Brown was at that wedding, so he will be looking through the crowd to see if the camera captured a glimpse of him.
Sister Wives fans chimed in to tell Ben that Kody, cutting the rug at the wedding, is nothing compared to what he will see in later show seasons.
Then, the fans suggested, he’ll be in for a real embarrassment as he continues to watch his uncle’s fancy but bizarre footwork.
So, it looks like Kody managed to embarrass two generations of his family, as fans suggest he fancies himself a modern-day Fred Astaire. Maybe even more relatives feel this way about the TLC celebrity, but if so, they are keeping it to themselves today.
