They are not too far from the reality. He believes that Sonny is taking his medication as directed.
However, Sonny’s pharmacist and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) have been collaborating to change Sonny’s medication.
General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos isn’t on the right dosage!
Sonny is only taking approximately 25% of his recommended dosage because of Valentin. Staying at Sonny’s penthouse, Ava Jerome (Maura West) also sensed something wasn’t quite right.
So she found out the truth by having Sonny’s medication checked.
However, Ava has remained mute for personal reasons. Being Sonny’s only confidante and a member of his inner circle pleases Ava. However, Ava has a personal history of manipulating drugs.
She previously caused Morgan Corinthos’s (Bryan Craig) death by doing the exact same thing to him.

Kate Mansi’s character Kristina Corinthos-Davis recalls precisely what Ava did to Morgan. Additionally, she was able to connect the dots when she discovered that Sonny started acting strangely shortly after Ava moved in.
She’ll probably come to a startling discovery when she sees how much Sonny is acting as Morgan did before he passed away.
Ava bears equal responsibility for her silence throughout this entire ordeal, even though she isn’t to blame for what has been done to Sonny.
General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome may find herself in hot water!
Despite Ava’s innocence in theory, she might be held accountable for Sonny’s changed medication. If Kristina confronts Ava and perhaps gets Sonny to hear her warning, he might eventually find out.
Ava’s greatest desire was to be a part of Sonny’s close group of friends, but instead she would wind up in jail or, worse, interred in the Pine Barrens. Over the years, Ava has gotten away with a number of horrible crimes; it would be ironic if she were to finally be brought to justice for a crime that she did not truly commit.
